On July 3, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) Tak Campus organized a ceremonial Vishvakarma deity worship (Bhuangasrung) and Teachers’ Day Ritual for the academic year 2025. The ceremony took place with dignity at the Vishvakarma altar area, aiming to preserve a cherished cultural tradition, express gratitude to faculty, and impart auspicious blessings to new and returning students. University executives, faculty, staff, and students participated in unison.
The morning program began with the administration and the Tak RMUTL Alumni Association President paying respects to revered sacred objects on campus, followed by a Buddhist monk officiated ritual (09:00 AM) dedicating merit, receiving precepts, and offering blessings.
At 10:00 AM, the Vishvakarma deity worship ceremony commenced. A procession carried a replica of the Vishvakarma statue, university ceremonial “Bai Sri” arrangements, flags representing each faculty, and the university emblem, all carried by students from various faculties. Student representatives then draped a ceremonial waistcloth around the statue. University administrative leaders and the alumni president garlanded the statue with fresh flowers, followed by a Brahmin ritual to invoke protective and auspicious blessings for student success.
At 11:00 AM, the Teachers’ Respect Ceremony was held. The Student Council President and Student Club President led offerings on behalf of students to the university executives. Student representatives from all academic programs presented flower and incense arrangements to their respective faculty members and formally pledged their veneration and commitment as students.
During the occasion, scholarships were awarded to outstanding academic performers and students in financial need, offering encouragement for their studies. The ceremony concluded with announcements of awards in the flower-arrangement competition, recognizing both aesthetic and innovative design categories.
